The Menu

Peter Luger’s menu is focused primarily on steak, but they also offer a selection of other dishes, including seafood, salads, and desserts. Here are some highlights from the menu:

  • Steak: The star of the show at Peter Luger is undoubtedly their USDA Prime dry-aged steaks. These steaks are aged in-house and cooked to perfection, resulting in an incredibly flavorful and tender eating experience.

Kickin it in New York City/Queens

Kickin it in New York City/Queens

I spent a few days running around NY. Stopped into some incredible places. I mainly walk around and eat, LOL. I flew in on a Wednesday and booked a little Airbnb in Astoria. All I can say is, wow. This place was crazy, and no heater. I was freezing the whole time, LOL.

American Museum of Natural History

Kickin it in New York City/Queens

Made a trip over to the Natural History Museum. I have always wanted to go; lots to see could spend days there, but alas. I pushed through, lucky not too many people. They have some great exhibits; I was not disappointed at all.

Hookah Louges

One of my favorite things to do is smoke my hookah and relax. So we stayed a few blocks down from the middle eastern side of town. I got to kill some time trying the flavors and food in the area. Layali Beirut is a Lebanese Restaurant I found and love. The atmosphere is great, the smoke is good, and the food is fantastic.

I tried another more local one, old Arab men playing board games. We sat outside and smoked and had tea. Kelly asked for some Maramiya. Then the owner came out and asked where we came from, asking for that tea, LOL. It was perfect. People were amiable and relaxed. Every time I go to NY, it’s very comfortable for me, with no issues.

Family Time

So after about ten years, I’m in a position to see my brother, who lives in upstate NY. So I bought some tickets for Sunday. I asked him to meet me in Albany. The trip up was excellent. I like seeing the NY countryside. He picked us up and the bus station, and we went and had lunch. Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat, Chat.

It was an excellent visit, and he dropped us off a few hours after arriving. Then back to the city we went.
